Stewards of the Land
The Paeahu team is a collective of dedicated residents, experts, and volunteers united by a single vision: the restoration of Hawaii’s traditional ahupua‘a. We care for our landscapes to ensure that native culture and wildlife thrive together in balance.
This organization is the result of Ledcor Maui's work with lineal descendants, recognized cultural practitioners, and conservation experts who has advised Ledcor on the future they wanted for South Maui. Through partnership with ‘Āina Momona, who is providing administrative support and capacity building for Paeahu, the collective team is developing a model of commuity-led leadership that will benefit Maui for generations to come.

Ka‘onohi Lee is a lineal descendant of Makena. She brings decades of professional experience to the organization and guides all organization programming.
Clifford Nae‘ole serves as the organization's cultural director and provides spiritual guidance to its work.

A lifelong Maui resident, Torie brings a wealth of aloha and talent to the organization.
